Digital Point Load Test Apparatus
Digital Point Load Test Apparatus is a laboratory device used to determine the strength of rock specimens under concentrated point loading.
Digital Point Load Test Apparatus is a laboratory device used to determine the strength of rock specimens under concentrated point loading. The testing principle is based on applying a localized load to the specimen between two loading points. The sample is placed between specially designed high-hardness loading cones, and the load is gradually increased in a controlled manner using a hydraulic jack. The maximum load recorded at failure is used to calculate the Point Load Index (Is). This device is designed to accommodate specimens of various sizes and shapes. Cylindrical rock cores, cubic blocks, and irregular fragments can be easily tested with it. The digital measurement unit displays the applied load in real time, and its peak-hold and tare functions allow precise evaluation of test results. Its robust steel frame, durable loading mechanism, and compact construction ensure reliable and long-term use in laboratory environments.
