Rock Test Hammer
Rock Test Hammer is a portable testing device developed to evaluate the hardness and strength characteristics of rock materials.
It measures the rebound value produced after impact on the surface to determine rock strength, providing reliable field data on material properties. The device operates by delivering an impact through a constant-energy hardened steel hammer tip. Following the strike on the rock surface, the measured rebound index is correlated with the material’s hardness level and uniaxial compressive strength. This method enables rapid detection of weak zones and assessment of rock homogeneity. The Rock Test Hammer features a compact and durable body. Its high-quality spring mechanism and hardened steel impact tip help maintain measurement accuracy even during long-term use. The measurement scale provides instant readings to the user. Its portability allows multiple measurements to be performed at different field locations.
