Travelling Beam Device

This device is specifically designed to detect and examine irregularities on both bituminous and concrete road surfaces. The system consists of a 3-meter-long beam mounted on two sturdy wheels at its ends. At the center of the beam is a detection mechanism that includes a wheel connected to an indicator, which detects deviations in the surface and magnifies them at a 4:1 ratio. Deviations are displayed on a scale calibrated in increments of 2 mm for measurements from 2 mm to 10 mm, and in 5 mm increments from 10 mm to 25 mm. The beam is delivered in three subassemblies, allowing for quick and easy on-site assembly.
