Le marteau est l\u00e2ch\u00e9 d'une hauteur sp\u00e9cifi\u00e9e pour compacter le m\u00e9lange par coups successifs, produisant une densit\u00e9 homog\u00e8ne et r\u00e9p\u00e9table des \u00e9chantillons. Cette m\u00e9thode est une proc\u00e9dure de laboratoire standard pour la pr\u00e9paration des \u00e9chantillons utilis\u00e9s dans les essais de stabilit\u00e9 et d'\u00e9coulement Marshall. Le marteau et les composants du moule fabriqu\u00e9s par YKMTEST sont en acier \u00e0 haute r\u00e9sistance pour une longue dur\u00e9e de vie.
