Automatic Specimen Grinding Machine is a high-precision laboratory device developed to prepare flat, smooth, and parallel end surfaces of specimens obtained from concrete, rock, natural stone, and similar construction materials. Proper surface preparation is essential prior to compressive strength, splitting tensile, and elastic property tests, and this machine ensures full compliance with relevant EN and ASTM testing requirements.

The machine operates under fully automatic control, eliminating operator influence once test parameters are set. A powerful motor and rigid grinding head provide stable material removal, while the automatic cycle ensures consistent surface quality from specimen to specimen. Depending on specimen diameter, up to three cylindrical samples can be processed simultaneously, significantly increasing laboratory throughput.

The system is compatible with standard specimen diameters from Ø38 mm to Ø200 mm, covering a wide range of laboratory and field core sizes. Specimens are fixed using a special vibration-free clamping system, which prevents movement during grinding and ensures excellent surface parallelism and perpendicularity.

An integrated water-cooling system continuously cools the grinding disc and specimen surface during operation. This prevents overheating, preserves surface integrity, reduces dust, and extends the service life of the grinding components.

The user-friendly control panel allows the operator to program grinding parameters according to material type and desired surface finish. Once initiated, the complete grinding process is carried out automatically, providing repeatable and reliable results with minimal supervision.
