Compattatore automatico Marshall, IT
Automatic Marshall Impact Compactor, EN, is a fully automated system that compacts asphalt mixtures to standard dimensions and density using the Marshall impact method, featuring a rigid steel frame, guided hammer with controlled drop height, programmable blow count, and safety interlocks, ensuring high repeatability, operator safety, and EN-compliant specimen preparation for asphalt mix design and quality control.
Automatic Marshall Impact Compactor, EN, automatically compacts asphalt mixtures using the Marshall impact method to produce specimens with standard dimensions and density, offering high repeatability. A rigid steel body and heavy-duty column structure dampen vibration during impact, ensuring uniform energy transfer along the mold axis. The guide system maintains a constant drop height for each hammer blow. A programmable control unit manages the number of blows and layer settings through a user-friendly interface; a digital counter and automatic stop at cycle completion reduce errors and improve specimen consistency. A safety interlock disables operation when the cover is open, while an emergency stop button and impact-resistant enclosure prioritize operator safety. An optional sound-insulated cabinet significantly reduces noise in high-throughput laboratories. Compatible with 4 in (≈101.6 mm) and 6 in (≈152.4 mm) Marshall molds; mold clamping fixtures and alignment pins prevent misalignment during impact. System architecture is designed in compliance with EN 12697-30 / EN 12697-10 standards defining Marshall impact compaction principles. This ensures compliant, reliable, and reportable specimen preparation for mix design verification, production quality control, and comparative performance studies.
