Shape Index Caliper is designed for determining the shape index of coarse and medium-grained aggregates, featuring a precision measurement range. A rigid frame and high-hardness measuring jaws allow accurate reading of the particle length/thickness ratio; maintained jaw parallelism ensures repeatable results across all size fractions. The caliper scale is finely graduated and covers a 200 mm measurement range.

Durable stainless-steel construction and wear-resistant surfaces maintain dimensional stability under intensive use. Fine adjustment wheel and locking screw keep readings fixed once particles are positioned, reducing operator influence. Jaw geometry is machined to reliably capture minimum/median characteristic particle dimensions; chamfered edges prevent particle damage and notching. The device dimensions comply with EN 933-4 shape index measurement requirements.
