Cylinder Moulds

Cylinder Moulds are precision-crafted molds made from steel or plastic, designed to ensure accurate and repeatable preparation of concrete cylinder specimens, featuring secure closures, corrosion-resistant coatings, and smooth internal surfaces for easy assembly, disassembly, and cleaning, with sizes like 150×300 mm and 100×200 mm, and suitable for both field and laboratory use in accordance with international standards.

Cylinder Moulds are precision-engineered molds designed to prepare concrete cylinder specimens with dimensional accuracy and repeatability. They are available in plastic or steel construction. Steel moulds feature a two-piece body with butterfly nuts and a detachable base plate, providing secure closure, leak-free casting, and easy assembly/disassembly. A corrosion-resistant coating and heavy-duty corner geometry maintain dimensional stability under intensive laboratory use. Moulds are offered in commonly used sizes such as 150×300 mm (6×12 in) and 100×200 mm (4×8 in). Single-use rigid plastic versions offer low weight and fast stripping for field use, while metal laboratory moulds provide long service life, tight geometric tolerances, and stability against heat and humidity variations. Smooth internal surfaces support proper placement without inducing segregation and allow quick cleaning. Design and sizing comply with international standards defining cylinder mould shape, dimensions, and tolerances. All components are selected to integrate with expected workflows for specimen preparation and curing, ensuring reliable and comparable strength values for compression, splitting tensile, and elasticity tests.
