Drying Shrinkage Prism Mold

Drying Shrinkage Prism Mold is a high dimensional-stability mold set designed for preparing prismatic specimens for drying shrinkage/length-change measurements in cement-based mortar and concrete samples.

The rigid body and precision-machined internal surfaces ensure that the specimen cross-section remains uniform along its full length; thus, readings taken with a length comparator are repeatable and reliable. Its heavy-duty construction maintains mold flatness, while leak-resistant joint detailing prevents deformation of freshly cast material. Smooth internal machining and finely chamfered edges enable damage-free demolding after setting; they reduce adhesion to the mold surface and allow rapid cleaning between batches. In the wet-curing applications, the base-to-body interface is protected against water ingress; edge geometry and dimensions remain stable over long-term use. The device is configured in single, double, or triple-gang arrangements to accommodate common specimen geometries used in laboratories.
