Ductilometer

The ductility test is designed to evaluate the elongation capacity of bituminous materials by measuring how much a briquette specimen can stretch before breaking, under specific speed and temperature conditions as the two ends are pulled apart. This particular model not only meets but surpasses the requirements of ASTM D113, ASTM D6084, AASHTO T51, and EN 13398 standards. A water chiller (available as an accessory) is recommended for optimal performance, although it can be used with mains water. In regions where ambient temperatures exceed 25°C, such as tropical climates, and cold mains water is unavailable, the use of a water chiller becomes essential to maintain proper test conditions.
