Le Chatelier Water Bath is a laboratory water bath with precise temperature control, designed to cure Le Chatelier moulds under controlled conditions for volume expansion (soundness) testing of cement. The device is developed to test cement specimens under specific temperature profiles, offering high thermal stability, uniform temperature distribution, and long-term operational reliability. The YKMTEST Le Chatelier Water Bath features a durable stainless-steel inner tank and an insulated outer body. The inner tank is geometrically designed to optimize water circulation, ensuring uniform temperature throughout the bath. This feature guarantees that all cement specimens are exposed to the same thermal conditions. The heating system is equipped with high-efficiency resistors that bring the water temperature to the target value rapidly. The digital temperature control unit allows adjustment with 0.1 °C precision and maintains a stable water temperature during the test, preventing sudden fluctuations. The water temperature can typically be set and stabilized according to test procedures at 27 °C, 30 °C, or 85 °C. The bath is designed to accommodate up to 12 Le Chatelier moulds simultaneously. The stainless-steel inner tank is corrosion-resistant and easy to clean. A perforated support rack at the top ensures that the moulds remain upright and securely positioned throughout the test, preventing tipping. The outer body of the device is made of electrostatically powder-coated steel, providing both an aesthetic appearance and long-term corrosion protection. Insulated inner walls minimize heat loss and improve energy efficiency. The bath lid, made of stainless steel, enhances heat retention and prevents evaporation and heat escape during testing.
