Wide Wheel Abrasion Testing Machine is engineered to evaluate the abrasion resistance of natural stone, concrete paving blocks, and slab surfaces under standardized testing conditions. The wide abrasion wheel, mounted on a rigid steel frame, operates with a balanced motor–reducer drive that provides constant rotational speed and stable contact throughout the test cycle. With a wheel thickness of 70 mm, the system distributes abrasive material evenly across the specimen surface, ensuring consistent and repeatable results across multiple samples. The control panel features a digital revolution counter and an automatic stop function, safely ending the test when the preset number of revolutions is reached. A calibrated loading arm applies standard surface pressure, while high-precision bearings and a wide base plate minimize vibration during operation. The machine body is manufactured using corrosion-resistant materials and includes a stainless steel collection tray with directed liquid–abrasive channels for clean and efficient operation. Adjustable specimen holders center natural stone and concrete elements of varying thickness, maintaining parallel alignment with the abrasion wheel. Positioning marks and a quick-clamp system enable fast specimen changes, while smooth surface finishes reduce abrasive buildup. The Wide Wheel Abrasion Testing Machine is manufactured in accordance with EN 1338, EN 1339, EN 1340, EN 1341, EN 1342, EN 10545-6, EN 12808-2, EN 13748-1, EN 13748-2, and EN 14157 standards for abrasion resistance testing of outdoor flooring products.
