Quantab Chloride Titrator is a titrator strip set designed for rapid and quantitative determination of chloride content in aggregate and soil samples, suitable for both field and laboratory use. As the sample advances along the capillary track, it forms a distinct color front on the indicator; the number seen in the reading window is converted to ppm (mg/L) or % NaCl using the accompanying calibration chart. Single-use strips ensure consistent reagent dosing each time, minimizing operator influence and providing repeatable results. The set covers two measurement ranges: low range 30–600 mg/L (≈0.005–0.10% NaCl) and high range 300–6000 mg/L (≈0.05–1.0% NaCl). Thus, chloride concentration can be measured at appropriate resolution in various matrices such as drinking water, process water, aggregate/soil extracts, and chemical preparation solutions. Each package contains 40 tests; a single operator can evaluate serial samples sequentially and record results within 10–30 minutes. The sharp progression of the color front and the numbered scale reduce reading error; the transparent observation channel ensures clear endpoint visibility even at low concentrations.
