Concrete Mixer, Double-Acting (Pan Type) is a counter-current pan mixer designed to produce highly homogeneous concrete mixtures under laboratory conditions. The double-acting architecture combines a rotating mixing pan with counter-rotating mixing arms. This configuration equalizes coarse/fine aggregate distribution, prevents dead zones, and delivers repeatable mixing quality in a short time. A frequency-controlled drive system mounted on the compact frame allows adjustable speed, enabling precise tuning of shear energy and mixing duration across a wide range of mix designs—from low-slump concretes to admixture-rich formulations. Upon completion of mixing, the inclined discharge mechanism enables controlled unloading; the removable pan shortens cleaning time. A wheeled chassis with stabilizing feet allows easy positioning in the laboratory. The robust drive system and rigid frame ensure stability under continuous service. The pan volume and effective mixing capacity are optimized for typical laboratory sample production (cubes/cylinders and prisms), yielding mix quality compatible with EN 12390-2 and ASTM C192 specimen-preparation procedures.
