MOT Straightedge

MOT Straightedge is designed to evaluate surface irregularities on road pavements, airport runways, and concrete surfaces. A long precision bar with adjustable contact points is used to detect deviations from an ideal plane. Lightweight yet robust construction is achieved with a high-grade aluminum alloy body. Approximately 3 m in length, the straightedge is supported at both ends and placed freely along the surface; the maximum gap between the reference edge and the pavement is measured using a central gauge or marking strip. This reading indicates surface smoothness and supports quality-control assessment.
