Flakiness Index Sieve Set BS is a BS 812–compliant sieve set designed to determine flakiness ratio of aggregate particles. Precision-machined slot openings are based on thickness criteria corresponding to intermediate size of each sieve pair, ensuring repeatable classification across different particle fractions.
The set consists of 7 sieves suitable for samples from 6.3 mm to 63 mm. Each frame carries permanent markings, with slot size and corresponding sieve size clearly indicated. Steel bodies have corrosion-resistant coating. Stackable design minimizes storage space. If required, different slot size combinations can be configured on the same frame design to suit various aggregate gradations.
