Metilen Mavisi Test Seti

The test principle is based on adding methylene blue solution to aggregate or sand that has been previously mixed with water, and determining the extent to which clay minerals absorb the solution. A 5 mL dose of methylene blue solution is dropped into the sample and mixed; the suspension is then tested on filter paper to observe blue halo formation. Color change and halo diameter indicate when the clay surface reaches saturation. Results are expressed as Methylene Blue Value (MBV), directly proportional to clay content. The set includes glass beaker, automatic mixer, burette, burette stand, dropper system, filter papers, methylene blue powder, and kaolin.The set conforms to EN 933-9, NF P94-068, and ASTM C837 standards.
