Combined Constant and Falling Head Apparatus is designed to determine the coefficient of permeability of soil specimens in laboratory conditions. The system offers two testing methods in a single unit, allowing reliable evaluation of both low-permeability and high-permeability soils.
The falling head method—used for fine-grained soils—calculates the permeability coefficient based on the reduction of water level over time, while the constant head method—preferred for coarse-grained, highly permeable soils—provides accurate results by measuring flow rate under a constant hydraulic head. Manufactured from durable, corrosion-resistant materials, the apparatus offers long service life as well as easy installation. Precision measurement tubes and a modular design provide flexibility, ease of use, and dependable performance.
