Los Angeles Aşındırma Makinesi

Los Angeles Abrasion Machine is used to evaluate the abrasion resistance and the fragmentation strength of coarse and medium-grained aggregates. The system consists of a steel drum mounted on a rigid base frame. The drum has an internal diameter of 711 mm and an internal length of 508 mm, driven by a motor to maintain a stable rotational speed of 31–33 rpm.

A digital counter automatically stops rotation when the target number of revolutions is reached. The loading port has a screw-type cover that seals securely; positioning for discharge is done via alignment button or control panel. A discharge tray enables clean and fast sample removal. The emergency stop and safety guards enhance operator protection during intensive laboratory use. The abrasion-resistant drum interior and well-balanced bearings provide long service life. Standard steel abrasive balls are placed safely through the loading opening; balanced drum mass distribution minimizes vibration.
