Marshall Compaction Molds are precision-machined mold assemblies used to prepare asphalt mixture specimens of standard size and density by the Marshall method. High-strength alloy steel bodies with smooth internal surfaces maintain dimensional stability against repeated impacts over long-term use, ensuring consistent geometry and reliable density values in every test. The mold body operates together with a flat base plate that enhances sealing, and an extension collar that accurately defines specimen height; tapered edges reduce wear from sharp corners and facilitate faster specimen extraction. Molds are available in standard 4-inch (Ø101.6 mm) and 6-inch (Ø152.4 mm) sizes and are compatible with both automatic and manual Marshall hammers.
