Pyknometer (Glass Jar Type) is a thick-walled borosilicate glass vessel used to determine specific gravity (relative density) and water absorption of fine aggregates.

The wide-mouth design allows easy, loss-free transfer of material into the jar; smooth internal surfaces reduce particle adhesion during agitation and support repeatable measurements.
