Unità di controllo automatico Y-Pilot per macchine per prove di compressione/flessione su calcestruzzo e cemento

Y-Pilot Automatic Control Unit is an advanced touchscreen-based system for fully automatic compression and flexure testing of concrete and cement-based specimens with precise, standard-compliant load control.

Y-Pilot Automatic Control Unit for Concrete & Cement Compression/Flexure Testing Machines is an advanced control and data-acquisition module designed to perform fully automatic compression and flexure tests on concrete and cement-based specimens. Developed for professional laboratories, the system ensures high accuracy, repeatability, and traceability by eliminating operator influence during testing.

The high-speed measurement chain, precision valve drive, and closed-loop feedback algorithms apply constant loading rates defined in relevant standards in a stable and controlled manner. This guarantees accurate force application and consistent test results across repeated cycles. Automatic zeroing, pre-loading, loading-rate control, and stop-at-maximum-load functions are managed entirely by the control unit.

The large touchscreen operator panel provides access to preset method libraries, including predefined templates for concrete cylinder and cube compression tests, as well as mortar prism compression and flexure tests. Once specimen dimensions are entered, compressive or flexural strength values are calculated automatically. Real-time load–time and stress graphs are displayed during the test, allowing continuous monitoring of test progression.

For laboratory integration and data management, Y-Pilot Automatic Control Unit supports USB and Ethernet connectivity, enabling direct data transfer to computers, printers, or laboratory information systems. Test results can be exported in common formats such as CSV, ensuring compatibility with reporting and archiving workflows.

Dual-frame control capability allows a single Y-Pilot unit to manage multiple test stations—such as compression and flexure frames—from the same hydraulic power unit. Automatic frame identification and an integrated calibration wizard simplify setup and accelerate routine verification procedures. The software includes force verification functions, calibration tracking, and maintenance reminders to support traceable operation in accredited laboratories.

Safety and durability are core design priorities. The system includes emergency stop control, overload and stroke limit protections, and continuous self-diagnostic monitoring to safeguard both the equipment and the operator. Industrial-grade electronics with electromagnetic interference (EMI) protection ensure reliable operation in demanding laboratory environments.
