Expansion and Shrinkage Moulds are precision steel moulds with coaxial gauge studs, designed to produce standard prisms for accurate monitoring of cement, mortar, and concrete length changes.

Moulds for expansion and shrinkage are a precision-tolerance mould family designed to produce standard-size specimens for reliable monitoring of shrinkage–expansion behaviour in cement, mortar, and concrete prisms. Rigid steel bodies with ground internal surfaces and uniform wall thickness maintain specimen geometry from casting to demoulding. Factory-aligned stainless-steel gauge studs at mould ends are fixed coaxially to ensure point contact with the length comparator; stud seats and centering surfaces minimise user-induced misalignment, improving micrometric reading reliability.
