Splitting Tensile Test Device

Splitting Tensile Test Device is a high-rigidity fixture designed for indirect determination of tensile strength in concrete cylinders, cubes, and paving-stone specimens. Its spherically seated upper head, ground lower bearing block, and precise centering lines ensure accurate axial load transfer when mounted on a standard compression testing machine. Manufactured from wear-resistant, coated steel with carefully machined contact surfaces, the device provides repeatable, standards-compliant tensile testing in accordance with ASTM C496/C496M and EN 12390-6 .

Splitting Tensile Test Device is a high-rigidity loading fixture designed for indirect determination of tensile strength in concrete cylinder, cube, and paving-stone specimens. The device mounts directly onto a standard compression testing machine and is equipped with a spherically seated upper head, ground lower bearing block, and centering lines to ensure axial-fidelity load transfer. Loading components are manufactured from coated, wear-resistant steel. The upper and lower loading strips operate in coplanar alignment; smooth bearing surfaces prevent edge crushing. The device body is protected with a corrosion-resistant coating; contact faces and corner chamfers are machined to prevent imprint transfer. Manufacturing tolerances are set to meet the loading-line, contact-width, and alignment requirements specified in ASTM C496/C496M and EN 12390-6.
