Консистометр Vebe

Vebe Consistometer measures the workability of fresh concrete with low to high slump in compliance with TS EN 12350-3, ASTM C1170, and ASTM C1176 standards. Ideal for stiff, plastic, or roller-compacted concrete mixes, it features a high-frequency vibration table, transparent disk, and heavy-duty steel construction for accurate and repeatable results.

Vebe Consistometer is a precision laboratory device designed to determine the workability and consistency of fresh concrete under various standards:

  • TS EN 12350-3 (Vebe Test): Suitable for stiff or dry concrete mixes where slump tests are not applicable. Concrete is placed into a cylindrical mold using a conical inserter. After removing the mold, a transparent disk is positioned on the concrete surface, and the vibration table is activated. The Vebe time—the duration until the disk fully contacts the concrete—indicates workability.

  • ASTM C1170 (Plastic Concrete): Optimized for plastic concrete with higher slump. The weighted disk ensures denser compaction, providing measurements focused on concrete plasticity.

  • ASTM C1176 (Roller-Compacted Concrete): Designed for very dry, low-slump or roller-compacted concrete (RCC). The reinforced vibration table and weighted disk allow accurate measurement of extremely stiff mixes, with elapsed time recorded as the Vebe time.

The apparatus features a high-frequency vibration motor for consistent operation, robust steel construction for stability, and a user-friendly setup to ensure safe, repeatable, and standards-compliant testing.
