CBR Mould EN Type (152 mm)

The rigid steel body is protected with a corrosion-resistant galvanized coating; the internal surfaces are smoothly machined to prevent edge notching during compaction and to ensure a uniform section throughout penetration testing. The mould set is supplied with an extension collar and base plate. A perforated base is preferred where drainage is required, while a solid base is used for swell measurement and protective configurations. The stud–wing nut clamping system allows tool-free, rapid assembly; the collar and base can be reversed in either direction, enabling controlled and safe specimen removal/rotation.
