The measurement unit comprises a low-hysteresis dial gauge with 10 mm travel range, 0.01 mm graduations, and a rigid carrier that maintains parallel alignment and resists vibration effects. The tripod head allows one-hand zeroing and pre-loading; the dial clamp screw maintains the setting during long-term soaking periods. All wetted components are manufactured with corrosion-resistant finishing; the perforation pattern of the plate ensures uniform upward water distribution across the specimen surface.
