Proctor Moulds and Rammers for EN

Proctor Moulds and Rammers set includes EN moulds with 100 mm and 150 mm internal diameters. The 100 mm mould has a 120 mm body height and a volume of approx. 0.94 L, providing the correct volume/height relationship for standard compaction. The 150 mm mould also has a 120 mm height and is suitable for larger‐grained specimens. Base plate configurations are selected according to the drainage and cleaning needs. Stud-and-wing-nut fasteners enable rapid assembly and secure locking. Rammers are calibrated to the EN requirements. Standard Proctor compaction uses a 2.5 kg mass, 50 mm face diameter, and 305 mm drop height. Modified Proctor compaction uses a 4.5 kg mass and 457 mm drop height, providing higher compaction energy. The vented guide sleeves release trapped air during impact, allowing uniform energy transfer on every blow. Ergonomic hammer heads support controlled and repeatable operation, even under continuous use. The moulds are fully compatible with automatic compactors, manual rammers, and specimen extruders.
