With its rigid frame, an alignment system that eliminates eccentricity, interchangeable specimen holders, and precision trimming components, the device ensures that specimens used in triaxial, uniaxial, and similar tests achieve accurate dimensions, parallel end surfaces, and smooth geometry. The specimen holding system provides full axial alignment over a wide diameter range through interchangeable heads and adjustable collars designed for standard specimen sizes (25 mm to 101.6 mm). Height adjustment is achieved using a fine-increment lifting mechanism. The instrument body is manufactured with a corrosion-resistant coating.
